Stoneware Shiboridashi 75ml

Ash glazed stoneware Shiboridashi.  The plant motifs on this peice bring contrast and movement to the piece.

I take great care when I make Shiboridashi, which require extreme precision to ensure that each part fits with the others and that the object feels natural and comfortable to use. Although fired at high temperatures, vitrified and non-porous, it will take on a patina from tea tannins over time, testifying to its regular use.

Each piece bears the unique mark that only wood firing can create, making it a treasured item for any tea lover.
