Glazed Chawan 450ml

Chawan fired in a wood-fired kiln. Its white glaze with fine cracks makes it the perfect vessel for enjoying your matcha! Two beautiful drops, one of them slightly bluish, have formed where the flame touched the piece. You can clearly feel the passage of the flame which leaves beautiful orange traces as well as subtle  ash deposits on the bare clay.

Each piece bears the unique mark that only wood firing can create, making it a treasured item for any tea lover.
